Blackjack uses one or several standard 52-card deck. Every denomination has a point value assigned. The cards from 2 to 10 worth with its face value while Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10 each with Aces either 1 or 11.

The objective of the game is for players to draw cards that totals to 21 or closer but, not going beyond than what the dealer’s hand is.

The Rules of the Game

The best that can be acquired is a 2-card 21 or what’s called a Blackjack. It pays 3 to 2 and that is, 2-card 21 on a 5 dollar bet wins 7.5 dollar instead of the typical 5 dollar even-money payoff on other hands that have won. On the other hand, if the dealer has 2-card 21 as well, then the hand either ties or pushes and you will receive your original bet.

In the event that the dealer has gone beyond three or more cards to draw 21, yours is still the winner with a payoff of 3 to 2.

In most cases, the game is played in an arc-shaped table that can sit around 7 players and the dealer at the middle. At one side of the table, there’s a rectangular placard telling the maximum and minimum bets made at the table.
